Do credits expire?

No, your credits never expire. Unused credits automatically roll over to the next billing period, so you'll never lose what you've paid for. This means you can use credits at your own pace without pressure.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time with no penalties. Go to Account → Plan in your dashboard and click Cancel. When you cancel, automatic renewals stop and you won't be charged again. You'll keep any unused credits in your account even after canceling.

Can I change plans anytime?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When you upgrade, you'll receive additional credits immediately. When you downgrade, your change takes effect at the next billing cycle, and you keep your current credits.

What happens if I run out of credits?

If you run out of credits mid-month, you have two options: purchase credit packs (50 credits for $3 with no subscription) to top up immediately, or upgrade to a higher tier plan to get more credits right away. Your credits never expire, so you can always add more when needed.

Which platforms integrate with AltText.ai?

Is my data secure?

Yes. We don't store your images—they're processed temporarily and deleted immediately after generating alt text. We only keep image URLs and the generated alt text in your account for convenience. We never use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent. All payment processing is handled securely by Stripe.

What if I need more than the Platinum tier?

Is there a free trial?

Yes! Every new account starts with 25 free credits—no credit card required. You can test our AI-powered alt text generation with your own images before committing to a paid plan. When you're ready to scale up, simply choose a plan that fits your needs.

Can I get a refund?

We handle refunds case-by-case. We typically can't refund used credits since the work has been completed. However, if you forgot to cancel and were charged but haven't used the new credits yet, contact us quickly and we'll work something out. See our refund policy for details.
